Careers
We’re always looking for thriving creatives to join our team. Below is our current list of jobs – but if you don’t see a position for you, but think you’d be a great asset to our team, please email Shay at hello@idyllic.co.nz with your CV
Senior Graphic Designer
Hey, creative genius. Stuck on projects that don’t excite you? Or just ready to join the coolest agency in town?
Good news – we’re hiring. This is ideally a full-time role, but we’re open to discussing hours for the right person.
The Role
We’re looking for a Brand & UX Designer who:
- Has 5+ years of industry experience (you’ve been around the block, you get it)
- Can confidently liaise with clients—pitching, presenting, and making them feel like they’re in expert hands
- Is strategic AF—you don’t just create logos, you create brands that work
- Can deliver on time and within budget (because great design is nothing without great execution)
- Has an exciting portfolio of work that shows depth, versatility, and strategy-driven design
- Understands UX principles – not just aesthetics, but usability, conversion, and customer experience
You’re great with
- Figma
- Illustrator
- InDesign
- Photoshop
- Canva
- Ideally, some Shopify/Squarespace experience
Why you’ll love us
- Work with a team that is super cool and creative (don’t believe us? ask our mums)
- Get to create brands with depth and purpose, all of which are wanting to disrupt and lead their industries
- Enjoy a flexible, creative environment where your ideas actually matter
- Yearly team retreat
- Our office? Easily the best in New Plymouth. We’ve got a monkey, emo rubber ducks, secret messages hidden in unexpected places, and a set of naked mannequin legs (Hank and Doris). If that doesn’t get your creativity flowing, we don’t know what will.
This is your chance to work on projects that challenge, excite, and inspire you—while working with an agency that actually gets it.
